For those not on facebook - John update

Turns out they wanted to do the surgery tonight after all. We went down to the hospital and hung out before they took him off on the bed. He is apparently providing a warm and cozy home for a few Streptococcus bacteria after all, not Staph, which is a cautious hurray. Nancy and Kurt are staying at the hospital, and Kurt will call me when we have news that he's out of the surgery safely. Will post the news when he's out and well.
