Weekends and mondays

jeanvieveHad fun on Saturday with mom. We went up to Corvallis, found a great used bookstore, munched the best smoked oysters in the world and got a nice loaf of bread from Great Harvest. I picked up a copy of Clare de Lune, with the intention of learning it on the piano. Slowly. Very very slowly.
Yesterday got a second coat in a couple spots that needed it in the downstairs landing, and have moved the peach up the wall to the top of the stairs in a line. I think we have enough Peach to cover that one wall at least, though may have to switch to the other shade for upstairs hall. Mom's pulling wallpaper off in the kitchen and puttying the seams of the molding where needed.
Mom's got a boy visiting her that she met online. He's 41. She's completely bewildered why he'd want to meet her and all, trying to throw her daughter his way (HEY!! Knock it off!) but I told her what the heck! Go you couger babe you! Tomorrow should be interesting.
Finally mailed the patch to Stacia, after toting it around for a few weeks. Yay me, ending that procrastination.
Need to start looking at the vacuum bags for my clothes to take down to John's. I got me a portable desk that makes me really happy. Now, to tote my office chair or get one down there off Freecycle? Hm.
