Ups and downs, bobbing on the waves

Well, two of my three projects exited a decision checkpoint today with Go. I had to stop and congratulate the team, as they didn't notice that it was a milestone of goodness in a river of hectic pain. One product manager noticed that I'll be out for two weeks and started having little baby ducks right there in his office. I tried to sooth them. Wait til Sandy hears what I promised she'd do in my absence! 

Downstairs ceiling is painted. Mom thought it looked so good, she painted the ceiling in her room too. Since I had meetings at 5am, I'm taking off early today to goof off and get a bit more rolling done up the staircase. We found the original paint for the stair landing downstairs, so may use that instead of the rose as it's a hard as nails enamel. Anyone know the Windows error code for "This Page under construction"?

Still no word from the Bank rep about my $210 they stole. Getting pissy. Sent nastygram.

Gaming is at my house tonight. Damn the luck - I'll have to put on underwear.

Off to indulge the rising tide of cleanliness urges.

I have to thank you for expanding my understanding of the world...I never knew underwear was required for gaming. No wonder I never win!

Well, it's not technically required. And in some games, positively verboten unless purchased at certain specialty shops. But we were expecting strangers. I like to start them out with a false impression of my civic uprightness.
