I was having a bad dream this morning. It hit the point of me saying, "Oh, they're about to capture us. I foresee death and possibly torture. HELL NO am I going to dream about death and torture, I'm waking up!" So I got up about 4:30. It's convenient to be a lucid dreamer. The only down side is when you're having those really scrummy dreams about ponies or etc and you know that you can linger and explore this dream fully except for the annoying sound of birds.

Yeah, my current CD wakes me up to birdcalls, and then a guitar comes in if I hang out in bed more than a couple minutes of listening to them. I like it.

Good news - blizzard in Eugene = only 2" of snow.

Bad news - my water heater is in an un-insulated part of the house, and I have no hot water this morning. We think something's frozen. Will investigate further once things warm up a bit. The good news is that we've just started to get a tiny run of water through the hot, though it's still cold that's showing up. It's moving, where it wasn't an hour ago.
