No leaving the blue shackles
Dec. 11th, 2008 09:38 pmWell, IBM did finally get off their HR Payroll asses and process my raise from back in October. I can afford December! And to catch up on a few bills and get the car registered and such. Which is good - I hate to push my luck this far when it's not absolutely necessary.
So goodie! It's not like I get to keep it, but monday will look a little brighter first thing in the morning.
Doing too much at the last minute before holidays at work. 6-7 hours of meetings, and trying to do 8 hours of work on top of it. Somehow I own developing the strategy of how we're going to deal with all third party relationships for our organization. Did I miss a meeting? Did I volunteer? Who volunteered me on top of everything else?
I better get a 1 rating this year!

Date: 2008-12-13 02:20 am (UTC)I just learned how to bowl, played a mean game of pool without a single beer, and now I'm off to try my voice at karaoke (this last with beer added). I'm feeling extra brave this year. Graduation has appeared on the horizon, the future is looking bright.
...AND YOU'RE IN IT!! YAY!!
