Workaholic day

jeanvieveFeeling a little more on top of things. Still failing at pivot magic. Anyone out there a master of pivot tables? Like, have one example, need to make a new one just like it?
But jumping in and meddling in new areas. Got to intimidate a new director today, hopefully in a way that left his dignity intact. (I took it private when he argued with me, both times.) Anyway, I think I have his support to make changes in his organization. One last battleaxe to get past.
Got one project mostly in the bag now, ready to concentrate on the next two. Have to point out to my new manager, politely, that I'm now doing as many projects as all his other top PMs on top of owning the system and all it's changes and manifestations. Which they do not. And they still get paid $20k more. Hm! Still bitter. Stay tuned - changes by March if no changes.
Geofry sorted cable up the wall today. Yay! Looks MUCH better than any improvements previous electrical efforts made around the house. New toilet still rocks. He also had an interview today, so fingers crossed.
Mom has yet another beau. Starting to have scheduling issues. Yet her smile lingers. It's good to see her with a positive self image again. She got beat down pretty good. Oh! Preliminary blood work ok. Still needs to see the dermatologist, but her coverage is solid and in place for at least the next 6 months. Yay, Oregon state health coverage.
