Odd dreams and flowers

I dreamed that I visited Maureen and Mat last night. Only for some reason they lived in California instead of Germany or England, and really I'd picked a bad weekend to visit as they were off with friends most of the time due to work. (It's the thought that counts, lovies! Mwah!) You two planning to emigrate to some third country or something?

Anyway. I ended up a lot over at a local cross between a timeshare and a country club. They had this great golf course and pool system and rooms to let. I was considering buying the one week plan there, so that no matter what else happened I'd have a luxurious place to throw parties. Well, to tell you the truth I was mostly only letting them put me up for a week for free while I 'considered' buying into it for the really nice beds and pool out back of my beach cabana. (I must find this resort while awake. It was totally zoomy and I'm going to spend a week there one day.)

Oddly, KTB was suddenly there and vexed with me for wasting money on a place where I'd only hypothetically stay sometimes, and it cost too much, and other vaguely sweet and annoying things all at the same time. Aw, he cares, I thought to myself, tickled even as I was irritated at his tone. Told him that he didn't get to lecture me about my own money unless there was some other investment emotionally involved, so just pipe down.

I woke up both laughing and irked. Am I getting to have all my arguments in advance? That'd be convenient - I totally hate arguing.

*hugs*! I would take time off work if you came to visit. And we're still in the UK, so if you ever make it across that "little water" in between, I'd wine and dine you & all that. *lurves*

I'll be around on Friday Sept 5 through Sunday. We have to leave Monday am to drive back.
