Happy Mother's Day to you suckers that spawned

Took mom out to brunch today with Jody and Marilyn to a winery. Beautiful place, it reminded me of the Champagne winery down in Napa in style and tuscan villa layout. Everything was tasty, though their chardonnay's were way heavy on the tongue. Actually, I only really liked their white desert wines. But the pinot and the shiraz were good for those that like reds.

Crashed at Steve and Kati's on friday night, got to meet his girl at last. She's charming, clever and delightful, very happy for him. Trailed him to a Rapier discussion at ITT Tech the next morning to chat to students of security as part of ISSA. Nice folks.

Picked up Dave at 4 from the airport, and we went downtown Portland. Stopped at a brewpub to feed him, then off to Powells, Spartacus, then Bettie Ford where we met up with his friend Kathy. Lovely lass! Here's hoping she gets all squiffy and he's clever enough to make a move.

A bit draggy today. Have lots to do this week with Beth out at work. Plus need to consider getting more projects done. I want to rip up a bit of carpet somewhere in my bedroom and see what lies beneath. Dun dun dunnn!! Need to find a dentist here in my network. My parents to murder, Gilder to frame for it. I'm swamped!
