Cranky, a little sad
Nov. 15th, 2007 01:14 amApparently Dad may have colon cancer. Biopsy to come soon, so nothing is completely certain. But still, it's just been one darned thing after another and I'm tired and frustrated with the general feeling of helplessness.
Still, thanks to the universe for trying to cheer me up with an early Christmas present arriving so I could eat comfort food like stuffed olives. Also Darren dropped by with an ice cream bar and hug before dashing off home, and it really helped in a way I didn't know I needed until it happened.
Don't tell him, but Dave or Amy will probably be the one who eats it when the next one comes over.
For some reason I just don't feel like working this week. Still life marches on, doesn't it?
