Or rather, I'm officially down in Sunnyvale. Mom's with me this weekend, and we've painted a room at John's into a nice warm but neutral shade. Got new blinds for it, and a nice new light fixture, repaired the warpage in the molding. Will paint the ceiling and molding in a couple weeks, most likely. Or sooner, if I get an urge.

Went to the Friday Night Waltz tonight with mom and John. For my first major physical effort after the surgery I think it went pretty well. I sat down when I got light headed or tired or both. More guys than gals, hurray! Got asked to dance a lot.

Mom and John are singing at St. Mark's tomorrow morning, and I'm going along to listen. Not sure of all of the plans for after, save that I want a hot tub somewhere in that. Day of rest and all that. Where to soak, where to soak. John's talking about taking a series of dance classes, and I think I'll be talked into them as well. Waltzing is more fun than walking for exercise!

Marchesa is settling in well too, my little furry poltroon. Despite her general cowardice and tendency to hang out in my closet, she's adapting pretty well. I think she must think it's better than being left alone for days and days.

Anyway. Must consider sleeping, though I took a nap this afternoon which might impede things a bit. Ciao for now.

August? Playing it by ear. June is my month of many decisions, as that's when raises are announced at IBM. Will decide if I'm job hunting, and if I am this is a better place to do it from.

Glad to hear that you are here! Sadly, we've emptied our hot tub for cleaning. But once it is up and running again...all you need to do is call ahead to make sure we get it warmed up for you.

Hello my pretty...So sorry I missed the big birthday weekend. I am sooooo looking forward to April 4th weekend though. I think I will bring your bday gifties with me rather than pay postal morons to deliver them. May as well tack on a few more late days worth of apologies my dear. Hugs...
