It isn't your fault that your offensive line is sloppy about their blocking techniques.
It sure as hell isn't your fault that your defense is sloppy about staying onside and finishing their tackles and covering their zones.
It isn't your fault that your boys aren't as fast as them.
You kicked ass in my book, and I was proud to wear your t-shirt today and share your name.
Alas, most of the people at the party didn't share my love. In fact, I'll go so far as to say that I'll definitely check next time to see if the people throwing the Superbowl party actually like football. I think if they'd stopped nattering amongst themselves your team could have concentrated better and I could have heard what that nice John Madden was saying. Not Al though. He's full of it.
Wish I could have heard all the commercials too. Now I have to watch them on my computer alone, instead of laughing in a room with friends. All in all, a bit of a disappointment today. Someday I'm gonna date a guy that actually likes football, I hope.
