Now one could say that we should be ashamed that, given our power over the world economy, we do not legislate ourselves more closely. And that we keep easing up restrictions for political agendas. And that people with a lot of rhetoric about how 'we need to keep away from big govt poking their nose into corporate interests' have in some views allowed this stuff to happen.
But one could be thankful every time one uses one's ATM to access one's accounts.
