jeanvieveHad an unexpected and delightful adventure down to the Bay this weekend. The smiling from the weekend is helping a little as a bulwark against this Monday.
Incipient boss showed natural cowardice, saying he wanted to 'revisit' my promotion after the new year. No promise, mind you. But there's a freeze on, and he's afraid to ask for things. I'm feeling now both bait and switched with not getting it to start with, shut out that it didn't go through with my last manager that submitted it, and disenfranchised that it's now on indefinite hold.
Carla and games helped a little. Spent some cash on lumber to improve storage over the porch. Must move furniture.
