jeanvieveMom came home cheery from the Mozart group in Salem last night. Apparently she's been asked out on a date, a mushroom hunting excursion in some foothills. Hurray!
Of course, then she also got a very nice love letter from another source entirely. Whew! Go mom, you heartbreaker!
Got two huge updates done today on time, submitted for the main IBM sales tool for our division. Made stuff up. Back to sci-fi writing, it seems! There's a hidden WOTD in the text, hoping someone someday notices or asks. It'll make me believe that salesmen actually read, which is not a current working assumption.
I'm getting a visitation from a cute boy I like. How exciting!
Deep breath. Must dive into more activities for the afternoon. Carla and Brandy are coming by at 4ish for snackage. Maybe I'll tell Geof and make him go cook or something. I need a longish day at work here to make up for being so scattered the last couple.
