Stitches out! The hand looks a little less Frankensteinian. It's always such a gleeful little pinching sensation to yank them out with tweezers.

Met a deadline. Sent the first new mortgage check. Put away groceries. Gave advice to mom on hanging things. Tried to stop by the doctor's office to sign a 'send my records please' note but directions given by locals again didn't work out. Must rely on Google from now on, no more local trusting.

Jeff and Suzanne Hale just called from a little south of Florence, on their way to find us. Surprise! Cleaning up house now. I wonder if this means we're going out to sing with the Russian folk group or not. I'm betting not, and a night of friendly socialization is in order.

Finding myself watching my mailbox many times during the work day. I'm a sucker for good letters.

Must mop floors and do kitty litter, and then will have a whole day without a drop of procrastination in it. Except for the procrastination I'm doing right now in getting started on chapter 3 of my CISSP book.

Oh, I was holding a glass of water and tripped. The hand holding the glass smashed like a fist into the wall, and the glass broke into my hand. Oopsie! 6 stitches.

And now I have completed my non-procrastination by doing taxes. I am the queen!

I have to recommend turbotax.com - it totally walks you through everything. And that's a house, buying a car, donating a lot to charity both in automatic withdrawals and in goods, etc.

I love turbotax, use it every year = but we have to figure out how to do married filing separately (or not) and then me moving there in Dec to make sure we take all possible deductions which I haven't a clue about. All the weirdness of being separated and then getting back together, me going back to school and him moving for work, and then independent self employment for both of us - eehhhh, I'm just not in the mood.
