My printer scans and faxes. How cool is that? How pathetic am I that I never bothered to find out if it did for the past 3 years until now when at midnight I'm stalling finishing another spreadsheet for work to get my financial statement off to the nice mortgage company?

Sad sad sad. Even pulling addresses together for Christmas cards, which I really need to get out with my new address before packing up and moving. It goes without saying that if you want a Christmas card from me with my new address, send me an email to the gmail address and I'll get it out there.

Anyway. Giving up on spreadsheet, doing meeting invites instead. I totally need a secretary - I hate this part.

Had bait with Kathy and Geofry today for lunch - lots of fun. Sent Geofry back to Albuquerque. 2 weeks until Christmas Party gig at Ed & Colleen's, one of my fave venues.

Eventually, technological development will so outstrip us that "research" will need to be done into technology that's already been perfected and abandoned by others to discover the "new."

Oh, that's already me. It is with no small amount of amusement to friends that I could on the one hand be an internet security analyst and on the other be incapable of figuring out a palm pilot. My DVD player, purchased a year ago, doesn't play the newest movies coming out. All it does is aggravate me.

I'm going back to poetry.
