Getting home, feeding the cat

Saw Casanova
Slept in 3 days
Napped on other days of not sleeping in
Saw the Sharks trounce the Avalanche with a handsome man
Started a new story for the pulpyvic group
Recruited John to both Shark and Vic groups - hurray!
Addicted John to House, as is right and proper
Met James and Laura, over dim sum - Woot!
Toasted with champagne
Danced and sang on New Years Eve
Walked through Japanese gardens
Hiked through redwoods to a natural castle formation of rocks
Went to the gym 4 times
Took Deena and Rick out, bought her baby stuff
Ate too much every single day, probably gained 5 lbs
Flirted, and felt pretty
Okay. It was brilliant. Now back to normalcy and a bit of a cleansing diet to get rid of the 5 lbs from rich, fantastic food. I plan to continue the working out thing, as it had nice side benefits. Got my chocolate intake for the quarter over with early.
From last year - I kept an herb garden alive to the first frost. I did paint tiles, and start on the platter. Mostly done for the latter, too. I finished 2 projects, and didn't start any major new ones that are not writing. I laughed more. I didn't tango that much or dance enough, but I made more music than the year before. I had good sex. I was happier. I cooked good food. I essayed various dating experiments with an open mind and heart. I enjoyed the company of good friends. I worked a little too much and overshot my goals for performance in that area, but have plans for how to slack off a little more and enjoy my weekends and friends this year. I'm going to see more plays and shows this year too. I'm going to make more progress, getting at least an outline of the play and libretto done somehow. I will sew two dresses and a coat. I will be out of credit card debt the month of my birth. And I will learn how to dance the mazurka. I may even get armor together for wars. This summer, I will ride a horse. Maybe kayak.
